How deep can you go? With this specialty course, you will be able to go to a maximum depth of 40m. It’s designed to increase your knowledge and skill allowing you to dive to deeper depths safely. You will learn how to plan, prepare, and assess your dive to enhance your diving experience.
All we ask is…
- You’re SSI Open Water certified (or equivalent from a different agency)
- You’re at least 15 years old

- 3 dives (each dive gets progressively deeper up to a max of 40m)
Can be combined with Nitrox – added benefit of extended you no decompression limits depending on depth.
Can be done in only two dives if the diver has already completed the advanced adventurer (or equivalent from another agency).

Who is this for?
This course is aimed towards divers who have just finished the open water course and thirst for more adventure: if you want to go further, this is the course to choose!
Why do this course in Malta/Gozo?
A lot of shallow reefs are interesting in Gozo. However, if you come here for the wrecks, you will most likely need to have a deep certification to be able to access them, as they are below the 18 meter (Open Water) limit!
Just in Gozo, the 3 wrecks (MV Karwela, MV Cominoland, and MV Xlendi) are at a depth of around 40m, so why not do two in one: see historical wrecks, and get deep certified?
