Who is this for?
Whether you’re a recreational diver looking for a little bit of fun time underwater, or whether you’re a technical diver who is looking to extend your range even further, DPV is made for you! Using a DPV has several advantages, such as being able to reach farther places, seeing more of a dive site in one go, or using less air (as you don’t tire yourself out from constantly kicking)! However, the biggest advantage by far of using a DPV is that it’s one of the most fun things you can experience underwater!
Why do this course in Malta/Gozo?
A lot of hidden gems are hard to access without a DPV! If swimming to a hidden spot would take 1 hour, you can do it in 10 minutes with a DPV!
On top of this, certain dive sites can be explored more thoroughly with DPVs (for example, using a scooter will allow you to visit the 4 wrecks of Gozo on a single dive).
