SSI XR Extended Range
Are you Ready to take that first step into technical diving? This course is an entry-level tec course that will teach you to plan and conduct decompression dives to a max depth of 45m and a maximum of 25 minutes of decompression using up to a mix of up to 100% Oxygen. You will also learn how to use specialised diving equipment, including a twinset and stage.
The course can be done in a sidemount configuration if you are already a certified recreational sidemount diver.

Who is this for?
This course is the first step in technical diving. It is aimed towards experienced divers who want to try a more committed kind of diving. If you like being thorough in your dive planning, if you are interested in the theory behind decompression, and want to learn a more advanced configuration that will increase your safety and your redundancy, then this course is for you!
Why do this course in Malta/Gozo?
Gozo and Malta are the perfect places to start technical diving. From the very active tec community present in the country to the dive sites which are perfect for technical diving courses, everything is geared towards technical diving. As most dive sites are done from the shore, setting up the technical gear is easy, and once in the water, you will always find a shallow reef to complete all safety checks, before going deeper, only a few meters further!
If you like wrecks and caverns, getting into technical diving in Gozo/Malta will allow you to extend your bottom time and explore in more depth all the wrecks and caverns this country has to offer.
